The project ‘Bridge of Flowers’ investigated ways of establishing a new public sphere in which citizens would have a role in shaping the urban environment of the city of Chisinau, Moldavia through the production of social and cultural infrastructure. During this process, local traditional practices and types of assembly were investigated and carefully analyzed through a series of drawings in order to envision new forms of urban participation, based on collective self-representation through the medium of the fabric, performance and the language of coded signs, colors and sounds.
